National Voluntary Organizations Active In Disaster

National Voluntary Organizations Active in Disaster (NVOAD) is a partnership in disaster response. The organization was founded in the simple belief that the time to prepare for the next disaster is now. NVOAD has 34 national member organizations, 52 State and territorial VOADs and a growing number of local VOADs. Representatives from these voluntary organizations meet together on a regular basis to share their respective activities, concerns and frustrations in order to minimize duplication of effort and manage disaster activities more efficiently.
